Hood® Milk Raises $15,000 through Heart of It All Program To Support Food Banks across New England

HP Hood, the leading dairy brand in New England, today announced that Hood® Milk is donating $15,000 to local New England food banks as a result of its recent Hood Milk Heart Of It All program. To celebrate June Dairy Month, Hood pledged to donate $0.25 from every gallon of Hood Milk sold from June 6th–June 18th at participating Associated Grocers of New England stores to local New England food banks.
More than 60,000 grocery store shoppers across New England participated in the program to reach the program’s goal of $15,000. In addition, every customer who purchased a gallon of Hood Milk was thanked at checkout by receiving a custom Hood Milk Heart Of It All decal to adorn store windows.
Food banks participating in the program represent all six New England states and will each receive a portion of the funds, including the Connecticut Food Bank, Good Shepherd Food Bank (Maine), Greater Boston Food Bank, New Hampshire Food Bank, Rhode Island Food Bank, and the Vermont Food Bank.
