Eggnog French Toast

  • 2 cups Hood® Golden Eggnog
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon  
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 slices firm, thick white bread
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or canola oil
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced banana
DIRECTIONS:

Combine the eggnog, cinnamon, and eggs in a shallow dish. Beat with a whisk until well combined.

Melt 1 tablespoons butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread in the eggnog mixture, turning to coat both sides well. Add to pan and cook until golden brown on each side. Repeat with remaining bread and butter.

To serve, garnish with fruit. Serve with butter and maple syrup, if desired.
