Honey Vanilla Green Tea Latte

  • 1 1/2 tsp. green tea powder (matcha)
  • 1/2 cup very hot water, divided
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 cup Simply Smart Fat Free Milk

Add the green tea powder, 2 tablespoons of hot water, honey, and vanilla to a serving mug. Whisk until completely combined. Set aside.

In another mug, heat the milk in the microwave to between 140˚F and 160˚F, about 1 minute on High. Do not overheat milk or it will not froth properly. Using a whisk or frothing wand, froth the milk.

Add the remaining hot water to the serving mug and mix with the green tea powder mixture. Add the frothed milk to the serving mug. If desired, dust with green tea powder. Serve immediately.
