Beef Stroganoff Pizza
servings: 6-
INGREDIENTS:ingredients
- 1 8 oz Hood® Sour Cream
- 1 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion diced fine
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 tsp. beef base
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 balls of pizza dough at room temperature
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
-
DIRECTIONS:directionsPreheat your oven to 400°F. While you are preheating your oven, roll out your room temperature pizza dough on a pizza stone or sheet pan, dust pan with flour or cornmeal to prevent sticking. Let rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile sauté the onion, mushrooms and garlic in a little olive oil until onions are transparent.
Add the ground beef to the onion mixture and cook until no longer pink. When cooked, stir in the Hood® Sour Cream, cream of mushroom soup, beef base, Worcestershire sauce and a little salt & pepper to taste. Continue cooking until heated through and thoroughly mixed. Split the stroganoff mixture between the two pizzas and spread, covering the dough. Top with the mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes.
