HP Hood LLC SMS Terms of Service

1. When you opt-in to the SMS service, we may send you SMS messages to notify you of any updates to your application status and to engage in discussion throughout your application process.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to unsubscribe. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to opt-in again, just reply START to the phone number you unsubscribed from and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. If you are experiencing issues with the SMS service you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at recruiting@hphood.com.

4. Carriers, our third party partners, and Hood are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

HP Hood LLC SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs how HP Hood LLC (“Hood,” “we,” or “us”) treat the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of the SMS Service (“Service”). We make the Service available to you through a third-party service provider. This Policy is incorporated into the Hood SMS Terms of Service.

By opting to use the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Hood reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or change this Policy at any time with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as posted. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to the Policy constitutes your full acceptance of those changes.

“Personal Information” is information that you provide when using the Service that that can be used to identify or locate you, such as your mobile phone number, user/screen name, and any other personal information that you choose to include in messages you send through the Service.

Opting out of the Service.
Hood’s third-party service provider gives you the ability to opt out of the Service at any time, for any reason. To opt out, text “STOP” or “QUIT” to the 10-digit long code phone number used to message you.

What Personal and Other Information is Collected About You and How We Collect It
When you opt-in and use the Service, you will provide Hood certain information including: your Personal Information, and other information you send to us, such as the content of messages and any comments or feedback regarding the Service.

How Hood uses your Personal Information
We use the Personal Information you provide to the Service to (a) provide you with the Service by sending you notifications, (b) process and respond to your inquiries, (c) if necessary, contact you with important announcements or messages, and (d) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners. Each message that you send through the Service (either to us or to other users of the Service) is stored by third party service providers.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Certain states’ data protection laws provide their residents with rights regarding businesses’ use of their Personal Information. Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding the collection, use, storage and/or deletion of your Personal Information.

We may use or disclose your Personal Information:

  • To our third party service providers to provide the Service.

We may disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified or both without restriction. An example of this would be the number of people who used the Service in a given month or the total number of texts sent in a given week.

Security

Hood seeks to use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Information. No transmission via the Internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us in accordance with the “How To Contact Us” section below. You should note that in using the Service, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control (such as a third party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network).
Hood cannot protect any information that you choose to transmit to other users of the Service. You should never transmit Personal Information or other identifying information to other users.

Intended Audience

Hood requires that users of the Service be limited to US residents only, who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Service, you are representing that you are at least 18 years old.
