Tahini Chocolate Chip Snack Cake

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 15.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Hood Milk in the LightBlock Bottle
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup well-stirred tahini*
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
*Stir tahini in the jar before measuring it as it tends to settle
Directions

STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Coat a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on two sides.

Toast sesame seeds. Place seeds in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place cake mix, milk, eggs, tahini, and vanilla extract into the bowl of an electric mixer. Mix on low speed until just combined, then mix on medium speed for 4 minutes.

Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Pour batter into baking pan. Sprinkle sugar, sesame seeds, and remaining 2 tablespoons chocolate chips evenly on top of the batter.

Bake about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out almost clean with a few moist crumbs attached.

Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Cut into 20 pieces.
