Banana Bread Oatmeal
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 small bananas, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups Hood® 1% Lowfat Milk in the LightBlock Bottle
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to simmer gently. Add the bananas and sprinkle with cinnamon. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the bananas have browned. Turn the heat off and leave the bananas in the skillet.
Microwave the oatmeal in two cereal bowls according to package directions, using milk instead of water. Top cooked oatmeal with bananas, brown sugar mixture, and walnuts. Serve warm.
