Creamy Mashed Sweet Potatoes image


  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 3/4 cup Hood® Sour Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. real maple syrup, plus more for drizzling if desired
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh rosemary for garnish (optional)


  • STEP 1

    Cut the sweet potatoes in cubes (Do not peel).

  • STEP 2

    Boil until soft, about 15 minutes. Drain, and place in a serving bowl.

  • STEP 3

    Add the sour cream and mash with a potato masher. Stir in the maple syrup, nutmeg, and salt and pepper, if using. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary and drizzle with maple syrup, if desired.
