Hot Fudge Sauce

INGREDIENTS:ingredients• 8 oz bag of premium chocolate chips
• 2/3 cup Hood® Heavy Cream
• ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:directionsCombine chocolate chips, cream, vanilla extract and a small pinch of salt in a large heat-safe bowl. Place over a pot of simmering water, making sure that the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl. Stir slowly with a spoon until the chocolate chips have melted and the mixture is smooth. Pour into a sealable glass jar and refrigerate. Reheat in a double boiler or microwave on low at 15-second intervals, stirring in-between until warm enough to pour.
Optional:
Add additional flavors like cinnamon (1/4 tsp.), cayenne (1/8 tsp.), or fruit flavored liquors (1 Tbsp.) into the mixture to make it even more special.
Hint:
Add more or less cream to make the mixture thicker or thinner depending on your preference.
