Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Peppermint Hot Chocolate image

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hood® Light Cream
  • 1/2 cup Hood® Heavy Cream
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (70% dark chocolate recommended)
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extract

Directions

  • STEP 1

    Bring the Hood® Light Cream, Hood® Heavy Cream and sugar to a boil.

  • STEP 2

    Remove from heat and whisk in the dark chocolate, cocoa powder and salt until fully dissolved.

  • STEP 3

    Add the peppermint extract last, then pour into cups and enjoy!
